The session 2022-24 has been full of great achievements for the students of Chandragupta Institute of Management Patna (CIMP), Government of Bihar. All the students got jobs in big companies in the country and abroad. More than two dozen companies came for placement. Students got 100 percent placement. All students of PGDM (equivalent to MBA) batch 2022-24 got jobs. Out of 98 students of the institute, 97 have got placement. A student has opened his own startup. This includes 89 students (92) from Bihar and eight students (8) from other states. This time 22 companies gave jobs to 97 students, while more than 30 companies came for placement.
This information was given by CIMP Director Prof. Rana Singh gave this in a press conference on Tuesday. He noted the dedication and hard work of students, the support of our faculty and staff, and the trust of respected recruiters. Placement Chairperson Prof. Vibhash Kumar said that we had more than 30 companies participating in the placement drive this season in various modes online, offline, hybrid, pool campus.
However, our students got placed in top 22 recruiting companies which include ICICI, Federal Bank, Ujjivan Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, Amul, Comfed, Asian Paints, Piramal, HDFC Life, Construction & Engineering. Global Archer (domestic and foreign), Colgate-Palmolive, IT, etc.
CIMP Chief Administrative Officer Kumod Kumar was also present.
Increase in average salary compared to last year
Compared to last year's average salary of around seven LPA, this time it has increased to 7.5 LPA. Also the highest package has increased to an astonishing record figure of 24.8 LPA, whereas last year it was 11 LPA. The first foreign placement also took place this year.

Maximum package for girls is Rs 11 lakh
The highest package for girls was Rs 11 lakh and the average package was Rs 7.50 lakh. This is more than the year 2023. In the year 2023, the average female package was Rs 6.82 lakh, while the minimum female package was Rs 4 lakh, last year the average male package was 7.66 lakh LPA and the minimum male package was Rs 4 lakh LPA.
