CBSE 10th 12th Result 2024 date: CBSE has termed the notice going viral on social media regarding the result date as fake. A Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) spokesperson said on Tuesday that no decision has been taken at present regarding the date and time of class 10th and 12th exam results. A fake notice is going viral on social media claiming that CBSE Class 10 and 12 results will be declared on May 1, 2024. When asked if there was any possibility of the result being declared on Wednesday, the board spokesperson said, 'There is no news regarding the result yet.' Once CBSE results are declared, they will be available on the board's official websites cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. Apart from this, students will be able to download their marksheet from DigiLocker app and website digilocker.gov.in.
Before the declaration of class 10th, 12th results, CBSE will issue a circular in which the list of websites, date and time and other information will be given. CBSE result can be released anytime this month.
What is in the fake notice
A circular is going viral on social media, in which it is being told that the results of CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th can be released today i.e. on 1st May. In this misleading notice it is also being claimed that the result will be released on May 1 between 1 pm to 3 pm. However, CBSE PRO Rama Sharma, through the official WhatsApp group of the board, has termed this circular as fake.
How was last year's result?
A total of 93.12 percent students passed the class 10th examination of the year 2023. The result of girls was better than that of boys. Girls passed 94.25 percent and boys passed 92.72 percent. To avoid unhealthy competition, CBSE did not release the merit list and toppers list of both classes 10th and 12th this year. Information about first, second and third division of the students was also not given. If we talk about CBSE 12th Result 2023, then last year CBSE 12th result was 87.33 percent. Girls passed 90.68 percent and boys passed 84.67 percent. Trivandrum region was on top in both CBSE 10th and 12th results.
Students who are dissatisfied with the marks of CBSE 10th and 12th result will get a chance for rechecking. Students who fail in one or more subjects will also get a chance to pass the compartment examination.
CBSE Board Results 2024: How to check
– After declaration of CBAC result, go to cbseresults.nic.in.
– After this the candidates have to click on the CBSE Class 10th and 12th Result link on the homepage.
– Then the candidate has to enter his/her credentials on the login page, like roll number and date of birth
– After doing this the marksheet will appear on the screen
– At last download it, read it carefully and also take a hard copy for future reference.
