The last date of application for Central Teacher Eligibility Test July session 2024 has been extended. Now applications for CTET can be made till 5th April. Earlier the last date was 2 April 2024. If any eligible and interested candidate has not applied yet, then he can apply within three days by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in. If there is any mistake in the application form, correction can be made between April 8 and April 12, 2024. Candidates will be able to make corrections in details other than their exam center city. CTET exam will be conducted on July 7 in 136 cities in 20 languages. Admit cards of the candidates will be issued two days before the exam. CTET result will be announced at the end of August.
Let us tell you that CBSE conducts CTET exam twice every year. The first examination is conducted in the month of July and the second in the month of December. Successful candidates participating in CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for class 1 to class 5. Whereas the successful candidates appearing in Paper-2 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for classes 6 to 8. Candidates who pass this examination can apply for appointment to the post of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya and Army schools across the country. The validity of CTET certificate will be lifelong.

What should be the minimum marks?
To pass the CTET exam, any candidate is required to secure minimum qualifying marks. CTET Minimum Passing Marks – For General category, you should get at least 90 marks out of 150 (60 percent), while for SC, ST, you should get 82 marks out of 150 (55 percent).
