The annual main examinations scheduled in March in Chaudhary Charan Singh University will be completed in the shortest time this year. If there is no clash of papers in the Lok Sabha elections, the main examinations will be held in just 35 days. In case of elections, it can last for 40-45 days. This will be the first time in the university that the main examinations will end in April itself in a period of 35 to 40 days. The main examinations will be held in two shifts, which till now were conducted in three shifts. The university claims that by June 30, the university will also release most of the results of the annual examination.
Now the papers are proposed from 11th March
According to the university, at present the main examinations are proposed from March 11, which will continue till April 14, but due to non-availability of back paper results, it is challenging for the university to start the papers from March 11. The university may announce postponement of the main examinations by a week till next week. According to the university administration, despite this, the examinations will be completed in just 35 days. In previous years it used to last till the last week of May.
Therefore less time, papers will be held in two shifts
According to the university, the biggest reason for the short exam time and two shifts is the regular graduates switching to the NEP semester system. PG regular are also semester system. In such a situation, only UG-PG private, regular X, single and category improvement students are included in the main examinations of the university. Due to this the number of students has reduced. This is the reason why the university has shortened the examination schedule according to the number of students.
Colleges should upload practical marks of NEP.
The University has instructed the colleges to upload the practical-viva marks of second and fourth semester in the graduate NEP. According to the university, the results are not being released due to non-availability of practical-viva marks. The university has also released the list of colleges which have not given marks on its website.
