This time the admission process for MD and MS seats in medical colleges of Uttarakhand has been changed. Now counseling will be done on the basis of the merit list issued by the Government of India for the state. Candidates will be able to register only once. This time such a system has been adopted due to the change in the result pattern of NEET PG. HNB Medical University has issued a notification. Registrations will be done till 30 September.
There are eight private and government medical colleges in the state, out of which five have 376 PG seats. Controller of Examinations Prof. Dr. Vijay Juyal said that an online meeting was held with NBEMS, MCC and NMC in this regard. Registration is being started on September 24, which will be done only once. Registration will not be allowed in the next phase.
NOC is necessary for bonded doctors
NOC from DG Health will be necessary for regular and bonded doctors of PMHS. The counselling software has also had to be changed by HNB Medical University. Because, earlier counselling was done directly by the university. Now before this, the registration list will be sent to the centre and after that counselling will be done on the merit list prepared from there.
PG seat details are 127 in HIMS, 162 in SGRR, 26 in Srinagar Medical College, 33 in Haldwani, 28 in Doon Medical College.
