The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may soon release the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Students can check the provisional answer key by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in. The CTET exam was held on July 7, 2024. It has been observed that the answer key is released 15 to 20 days after the exam. Therefore, it is believed that the provisional answer key for CTET Exam 2024 may come in the third or last week of July. But these are just possible dates, the provisional answer key may be released before or after this.
Last year in 2023, the CTET exam was held on 20th August, the board released the provisional answer key on 16th September.

This year the exam was held on 7th July. The exam was held in two shifts. The first shift was from 9:30 am to 12 noon in which Paper 2 was conducted. Paper 2 is given by those candidates who want to teach students from class VI to VIII. The second shift was held from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Paper 1 was held in this shift. Paper 1 is given by those candidates who want to teach students from class 1 to class V. Candidates who want to teach students from class 1 to class 8 gave both the exams.

150 questions were asked from the candidates in the exam, whose total marks are 150. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers in the exam.
CBSE will release the OMR answer sheet and provisional answer key of CTET exam on its official website. The provisional answer key will be available on the official website for a limited time (2-3 days). Along with this, the objection window will also be opened for the candidates. The candidate will have to pay a non-refundable fee of one thousand rupees to challenge each question. After this, the subject experts will check the objection filed by the candidate. The final answer key will be prepared as per the opinion of the subject experts and the result of the examination will be released on that basis.
