Three students died due to waterlogging in the basement of a UPSC coaching centre in Delhi. After this incident, the Directorate of Education of Delhi has now issued guidelines for safety. All these safety guidelines have been sent to the head teachers and principals of all government, government-affiliated and private schools in Delhi. According to the guidelines, all schools will be allowed to carry out only those activities in the basement for which they have been granted permission and which have been permitted as per the master plan and the map passed by the building.
