The process for admission from nursery to first class is going on in Sarvodaya Vidyalayas. Many schools received double the applications for admission to nursery class than the total seats. In this regard, a draw will be organized on March 21 in the presence of school management committee members and parents. Government Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya located in West Vinod Nagar has received 80 applications for 40 seats of nursery class, 73 for 40 seats of KG class and 30 applications for ten vacant seats of first class. Government Co-educational Sarvodaya Vidyalaya located in Dwarka Sector-13 has received 63 applications for nursery class and 73 applications for KG class. Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya located in Palam Enclave has received more than 80 applications for KG class.
PD Sharma, General Secretary of Government School Principals Association, Delhi, said that good response has been received from parents for admission of their children in all the schools. Please note that if there is any discrepancy in the application form before the draw, its information will be given on the notice board on March 19. To overcome the shortcomings, parents will be able to contact on March 19 and 20 during school time. The draw will take place on 21st March. Its videography will be done. It will be at 11 am in morning shift schools and at 3 pm in evening shift schools.
The list of candidates selected for admission in the draw will be displayed on the notice board on March 22 at 11 am in the morning shift schools and at 3 pm in the evening shift schools. Admission of selected candidates in schools will be from 23rd March to 1st April.
