If you are also taking admission in DU and you do not know the academic calendar of DU first year yet, then let us tell you that Delhi University has released the academic calendar of 2024-25 for first year students. Classes for the 2024-25 academic session of Delhi University will start from Thursday, August 29, 2024. To check the official calendar, students have to visit the official website admission.uod.ac.in.
According to this official schedule, the classes for the new session of Delhi University will start from August 29, 2024.
Check the schedule of Semester 1 here-
1. Semester 1 classes will begin from August 29, 2024.
2. The mid-semester break will begin on October 27 and end on November 3, 2024.
3. Classes will begin on November 4, 2024, after the mid-semester break.
4. After this, Semester 1 classes will end on 24th December.
5. Semester 1 examinations will begin from January 6, 2025.
6. Winter holidays will be from January 25 to January 26, 2025.

1. Semester-2 classes will commence from January 27, 2025.
2. The mid-semester break will be from 9th March to 16th March.
3. Classes will commence on March 17, 2025 after the mid-semester break.
4. After this, Semester 2 classes will end on May 25, 2025.
5. Semester 2 examinations will commence from June 7, 2025.
6. Summer holidays will be from June 29 to July 20, 2025.

1. First of all you have to visit the official website of Delhi University, admission.uod.ac.in.
2. After this you have to click on the link 'Academic Calendar Official Notification for Academic Year 2024-25' given on the home page.
3. After which you will reach a new page, there you will have to click on the link mentioned above.
4. Now the academic calendar will open on your screen.
5. Now you can download the Academic Calendar.
