DU SOL Admission 2024: The admission process in the School of Open Learning of Delhi University will start from Monday. This year, the institute is also providing many facilities to the students taking admission in the School of Open Learning. Before admission, the candidate will have to go to the SOL portal and enroll on the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC). All the marks will be deposited in it. Prof. Payal Mago, Director, Campus of Open Learning, said that admission to eight PG programs and 9 UG programs of the School of Open Learning including PG Diploma in Automated and Digital Library Management is starting from June 3. Candidates do not have to appear for CUET exam for undergraduate admission. He told that only Rs 500 will be deducted from the fees as administrative fee for the students who withdraw their admission before the last date of closing of the university admission. He told that to save the candidates taking admission after the announcement of CUET from any difficulty, it has been decided that SOL will refund the entire fee of those candidates. There is no seat binding in many subjects given by SOL. A student from Delhi or outside Delhi can also take admission in SOL, but his examination centre will be Delhi only.
Admission only after enrollment in ABC
Prof. Payal Mago said that students will benefit a lot from Academic Bank of Credit. Due to this, the information of students will not only be with SOL but also with UGC. For this, the student will just have to enroll with Aadhaar. Complete information about this has been given on the website of School of Open Learning.
