Two people are working in the same school, with the same name, on the same roll number. There are 345 teachers in the state doing such jobs. Three different types of fraud have come to light in the TET roll numbers of employed teachers appearing in the competency test. Most of the teachers with same name and same roll number in the same school are appointed in Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur. There are 32 teachers in the district, out of which two each have the same name and are working in the same school. The amazing thing is that the roll number of all of them is also the same.
In the first list of three different frauds, there are teachers with one name, one school and one roll number. The second list is made of such teachers who have one name, one roll number, but different schools. The third list has been made of such teachers, who have the same roll number but have different names and schools. One name, one roll number but the number of teachers working in different schools in the district is 14. One roll number but different names and the teachers reinstated in different schools are 12. A total of 58 teachers are under suspicion in the district. Nawada and Muzaffarpur have the highest number of all three types of frauds combined. There are 79 in Nawada and 58 in Muzaffarpur.
1200 teachers under investigation:
Let us tell you that 1205 employed teachers who had applied for the competency test being conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board have come under the scanner. The roll numbers of all these teachers in the teacher eligibility tests belong to more than one candidate. In such a situation, considering them to be under suspicion, the Education Department has decided to conduct physical verification of all. Physical verification will be done by calling teachers in a phased manner in the command and control center set up in the department. Two lakh 21 thousand 255 applied to appear in the competency test. It is known that a competency test is being conducted to give the status of government employee to the employed teachers. Its first phase is currently going on. Teachers will be given a total of five chances to pass the examination. Of these, three online and two written examinations will be taken.
