IIT Bombay Research Internship 2024: IIT Bombay has invited application forms for IITB Research Internship Award for the academic year 2024-25. Under this program, students will get an opportunity to work on a research project under the guidance of the faculty of IIT Bombay.
The candidates who will be selected will also get a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month. Which will provide them important academic and professional development as well as financial help. To apply, candidates have to visit the official website ircc.iitb.ac.in will go on.
Important information about IITB Research Internship Award-
1. Monthly stipend – 15 thousand rupees
2. Internship Duration- January to June 2025 (4-6 Months)
3. Eligibility – For top performing students in Graduation and Masters courses
4. Last date for application form – October 3, 2024
Eligibility for IIT Bombay Research Internship-
1. Students must be in the 3rd or 4th year of Graduation course or 2nd year of Masters course.
2. The candidate must be among the top 20 students in his/her class.
3. The research topic should be in line with the specific project requirements of the IIT Bombay Faculty.
4. Candidate must be a full time student during the internship period, with no conflicting courses.
5. Part-time internships are not permitted.
Selection Process for IIT Bombay Research Internship-
1. Screening based on academic performance and achievements
2. Consideration of extracurricular activities like participation in Olympiads, Techfests and similar competitions
3. Shortlisted candidates may be called for test or interview. Outstation candidates will be provided with travel expenses (second sleeper class).
4. Final selection will be made on the basis of academic excellence, research capability and interview performance.
