Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has again invited applications for Haryana Police Constable 6000 Recruitment after releasing the revised result of CET in view of the order of the High Court. Applications can be made for this recruitment from 29 June to 8 July 2024. Actually, the petition giving 5 marks bonus marks on social and economic basis was rejected by the Supreme Court, after which the revised result of Group C of Common Eligibility Test (CET) was released on 25 June. The CET result was released without bonus marks. Now CET qualified candidates will have to register again using their CET registration number.
Earlier, applications for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment were taken from 20 February to 28 March. After this, the recruitment process did not move forward. Candidates who have already applied do not need to apply again. As per the court order, their socio-economic criteria claim will be removed from their application. Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) had announced recruitment for 6000 posts of Constable (General Duty) in Haryana Police in the month of February. In this recruitment, 5000 posts are reserved for male candidates and 1000 posts are reserved for female candidates.
Reservation in 5000 posts for men – Non-ESM ESP: GEN=1800, SC=900, BCA=700, BCB=400, EWS=500, ESM-GEN=350, ESM-SC=100, ESM-BCA=100, ESM-BCB=150
Ability – Must have passed 12th. Must have studied either Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in 10th.
Age Range The age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1 February 2024. The government has given 3 years relaxation in age due to delay in recruitment and corona.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories who are natives of Haryana will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the state government. That is, after getting relaxation in the age limit, now candidates of unreserved category up to 28 years can apply. At the same time, the age limit for EWS / SC / ST will be 18 years to 33 years. The maximum age limit for OBC category will be 31 years.
Selection Process – On the basis of CET, candidates will be shortlisted for physical test. Then the candidates will be called for Common Eligibility Test (Knowledge Test). Knowledge test will be given 94.5 percent weightage. Those who have NCC certificate will get 3 extra marks. 2.5 marks weightage is fixed for social economic criteria.
In the physical test, men will have to run 2.5 km in 12 minutes and women will have to run 1 km in 6 minutes.
