Candidates should be cautious if they are receiving fake messages, emails, phone calls and links for depositing fees through Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for admission, re-registration etc. Because, IGNOU has issued a notice regarding such fraud. It added that IGNOU has not authorized any person or agency to receive payment for any purpose in this manner. Students are advised to visit only the official website of IGNOU, ignou.ac.in and follow the relevant links. An IGNOU official said that we had received information that some links were being sent on social media, in which information about enrolment, fee payment etc. was mentioned. Therefore this notice and advisory has been issued.
For correct information, candidates should visit IGNOU website.
IGNOU said that emails related to admission or re-registration etc. are sent by the University Headquarters and Regional Centers (RCs) only through the official email ID @ignou.ac.in or @samarth.ac.in, @samarth.edu. Emails received from any other email ID for payment will be considered fake and reported to the police. IGNOU will not be responsible for any such fraudulent payment links or payments made through the website.
IGNOU June 2024 Term End Exam
The last date for filling online form without late fee for IGNOU June 2024 semester end examination has been extended till April 22. The last date for submission of assignments for the term-end examination June 2024 has been extended till 15th April.
Term end examinations will be held from June 1.
