The process of admission to the four-year Bachelor of Science (BS) degree course without JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores has started in IIT Madras. This special electronic systems related course of IIT Madras is an online course. Studies will be in online mode. There is no need to appear for JEE Main or JEE Advanced for admission to this course. Last date of application is 26 May 2024. Admission to this course will be done through the entrance exam to be held on 7th July 2024. The course aims to meet the growing demand for graduates in the electronics and embedded manufacturing sector in India. This time admissions are being held for the third batch in this online BS course of IIT Madras. About 1000 students are studying in this course.
This course will be with multiple exit. That is, if the course students want to leave their studies after completing four years, then they will have the opportunity to take Foundational Level Certificate and Diploma.

12th pass students can apply for this online BS course of IIT Madras. It is necessary to have Physics and Maths in 12th.

The theory sessions of the course will be online and the lab sessions will be held on the campus of the institute. Assignments can be submitted in online mode. The exam will be held at IIT Madras campus.
