IIT Madras launches online courses: IIT Madras will offer online AI and data science courses to class XI and XII students. The course will last for 8 weeks. Students will have to pay just Rs 500 to learn this course. These courses, which focus on data science and artificial intelligence as well as electronic systems, offer students an opportunity to get a head start in a technology-driven future.
Which students can register-
Only students from partner schools can apply for this course. Students interested in registering should talk to their school authorities to check if their school is a partner with IIT Madras.
Apart from this, students can check the name of their school by visiting the official website school-connect.study.iitm.ac.in.
Ability-
1. Data Science and AI – Class XI students from any stream can apply.
2. Electronic Systems- Students who are currently studying Maths and Physics in class 11th can apply.
Course details-
IIT Madras programs for school students offer a simple and engaging structure. Every week, students will have access to 1 hour of recorded lecture videos, divided into 30-minute segments, uploaded every Monday. To maintain the interactive element among students, live sessions will be conducted once a month during weekends. Additionally, students will receive online assignments every two weeks, with a time limit of 2 weeks to submit them, which will encourage continued engagement of students with the course.
