Indian Army JAG Entry: There is good news for the youth who want to make a career by joining the Indian Army. Actually, Indian Army has released the official notification for the 35th Judge Advocate General, GAG Entry Scheme, which is going to start in October 2025. In this, unmarried male and female law graduates have been invited to apply for posts as Short Service Commission, SSC Officers in Jag branch of the Indian Army.
In this, interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official recruitment website of the Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in. As per the official schedule, the last date to apply for the recruitment process is November 28. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of eight Judge Advocate General posts, out of which four are for men and four for women. Indian Army JAG Entry: These are the qualifications
To apply for the 35th JAG Entry Scheme, the candidate's age should be between 21 to 27 years and born between July 2, 1998 to July 1, 2004. Must have passed three years or five years LLB with at least 55 percent aggregate marks. Also, there should be a valid CLAT PG 2024 score.
Indian Army JAG Entry: Selection process will be like this
The selection process for JAG 35th Entry Scheme involves several stages. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in CLAT PG 2024 examination. Selected candidates will be called for a five-day Service Selection Board, SSB interview, in which their physical and mental abilities will be assessed. Those who clear the interview round will have to undergo a medical test to assess their fitness. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidate's performance in all the rounds and overall eligibility criteria.

Indian Army JAG Entry: Training of selected candidates will be done here
After final selection, all shortlisted candidates will undergo a rigorous 49-week training program at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai. The training program is designed to prepare the candidates for their positions as officers of the Judge Advocate General Branch of the Indian Army.
Indian Army JAG Entry: You will get this much salary
On successful completion of the 35th course of JAG Entry Scheme, candidates will be appointed to the post of Lieutenant in the Indian Army, whose basic salary will be Rs 56,100 per month. Along with this, the candidate will get many types of allowances including military service pay of Rs 15,500. The pay scale for the post of Lieutenant is approximately Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500.
