Indian Army Officer Salary COAS gets higher Salary and these facilities Defence Jobs

Officers posted in the army get many facilities along with good salary. Apart from this, they also get many other facilities like military service pay.

According to reports, the lowest post in the Indian Army is that of a soldier. Candidates selected for this post get a salary of 20 thousand to 25 thousand rupees.

If we talk about officer ranks, then a lieutenant is paid a monthly salary of Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. A captain is paid Rs 61,300 to Rs 1,93,900, a major is paid Rs 69,400 to Rs 2,07,200. A lieutenant colonel gets Rs 1,21,200 to Rs 2,12,400.

Apart from these, Colonel is paid Rs. 1,30,600 to Rs. 2,15,900, Brigadier is paid Rs. 1,39,600 to Rs. 2,17,600, Major General is paid Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200, Lieutenant General is paid Rs. 1,82,200 to Rs. 2,24,100.

If we talk about the highest salary in the army, then it is given to the Chief of Army Staff. COAS gets a monthly salary of Rs 2.5 lakh. Along with this, many facilities are also given. These include government accommodation, security force, many facilities after retirement etc. COAS is made an officer of the rank of General.
