Indian Navy has released the notification for Short Service Commission Officer recruitment. Recruitment has been announced for 250 posts of Short Service Commission Officer (SSC Officer) in Indian Navy. The last date to apply is 29 September 2024 by visiting the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

Vacancy –

General Service – 56 Vacancies

– For this, B.Tech or B.E. holders from any subject can apply. 60% marks in B.Tech is a must.

Air Traffic Controller – 20

Naval Air Operations Officer – 21

Eligibility for the above three types of posts – For this, those who have done B.Tech or B.E. in any subject can apply. 60% marks in B.Tech is a must.

Logistics – 20

(i) BE/B.Tech in any discipline with first class

(ii) MBA with First Class, or

(iii) B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.Sc.(IT) with First Class with PG Diploma in Finance/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management/ Materials Management, OR

(iv) MCA/MSc (IT) in First Class.

Education Branch – 15 Vacancies

Technical Branch

Engineering Branch General Service – 36 Vacancies

Electrical Branch General Service – 42 Vacancies

Selection – There will be no written exam. Candidates will be shortlisted for SSB interview on the basis of marks obtained in the degree sought.

Length of service

The selected candidates will be posted for a period of 10 years. Based on performance and fitness, this can be extended to 4 years in increments of 2 years each.

Application Fee: Application fee is zero for candidates of all categories.
