From next year, the admission process for undergraduate and PG courses in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will be conducted twice a year. This was decided in the 58th Academic Council (AC) meeting of IPU on Wednesday. From the academic session 2025-26, the admission process for undergraduate and PG courses will be ensured in July and August and January and February. The university administration has simplified the admission process by taking a decision in the interest of the students. So that students can get admission in the courses in less time.
Single girl child will get admission
In the meeting, IPU has also decided to reserve one seat for single girl child for admission in undergraduate and PG courses. Also, after discussions with All India Council for Technical Education, it has been decided to start B.Tech course in Computer Science and Applied Maths.
DU seat allotment will begin from June 22
New Delhi, V.S. Delhi University has released the schedule for the first, second and third round of seat allocation for admission to PG, B.L.L.B. Hons., B.B.L.L.B. Hons. and three engineering courses. Seat allocation will be done for admission in courses like Computer Science, Electronics and Communication and Electrical Engineering. The first round for admission to all these courses will start from June 22. Students will be able to get admission in these courses through DU's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). After this, the second round will start on July 2. In both the rounds, students will be given time to accept the allotted seat and after this they will have to ensure admission from the department of the courses. After the completion of both the rounds, only the students of PG and engineering courses will be given a mid-entry window for admission again.
