Joint Admission Committee, Delhi has started the process of JAC spot round for admission in engineering and architecture courses. According to the information, the process of spot round will run from 29 July to 1 August at the Ambedkar Auditorium of Delhi Technical University (DTU). All students who did not get admission in any university during the counseling process can apply for the spot round. Students can check the schedule of spot round by visiting the official website jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in.
Students do not need to register separately to be a part of the spot round. The registration they did at the beginning of the counselling process will be valid.
Eligibility of the student to be a part of Spot Round-
1. Students who have registered for JAC Delhi counselling process and students who did not get admission in any university during the counselling process.
2. Registered students who did not get admission in any programme of any of the institutes participated in counselling.
3. Students who were allotted seats in the previous round but did not report to the college.
4. In Architecture courses, those students who did not register for JAC Delhi 2024 but have passed JEE Exam 2024 or NATA Exam 2024 can also apply in the spot round.
5. Students who were allotted seats earlier but it was cancelled due to some reason.
6. Students who have taken admission in any university during JAC Delhi 2024 counselling cannot now apply in the spot round.
7. DTU, IIIT-D, IGDTUW, NSUT and DSEU universities are participating in the spot round.
Spot Round Schedule-
1. The result of the upgrade round and vacant seats for the spot round will be declared on July 26, 2024.
2. Students who do not want any upgrade can freeze their seats till 2 PM on July 27.
3. The seat allotment and admission process for spot round of B.Tech courses will be held on July 29 for Single Girl Child, SC, ST and OBC (Residents outside Delhi) and EWS (Residents outside Delhi) categories.
4. B.Tech admission for Delhi residents OBC and EWS category will be held on July 30.
5. B.Tech Admission will be held on July 31 and August 1, 2024 for General Category.
6. The process of taking admission in Architecture course will start on 30th July at 1 pm.
7. The final list of students taking admission will be released on the official website of JAC Delhi on 2nd August.
