Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has issued instructions regarding the number of seats for enrollment in Inter in the session 2024-26. Enrollment will be taken on 128 seats in each faculty in inter colleges granted establishment permission, 384 seats in each faculty in permanent approved inter colleges, 256 seats in each faculty in degree affiliated colleges and 384 seats in each faculty in constituent colleges.
In case of enrollment more than the allotted seats, the concerned students will not be registered. Data of enrolled students will have to be uploaded in the U DISE portal. JACK has clearly stated that the nomination order/seat increase order in excess of the prescribed seats given in the previous session in any form is cancelled. In the order issued by JAC, it has been said that the session wise enrollment process in the constituent and degree affiliated colleges will have to be reduced in a phased manner.
