I want to write scripts for films and TV serials. Please guide. -Saket Anand
Students interested in making a career in the field of script writing for films and TV serials should keep one thing in mind that a lot of creative writing depends on your talent, which no one can teach you. If you have the basic qualities of script writing, then it can be improved to some extent with the help of an institute or course. You should start script writing by writing every incident that happens around you and after seeing which you immediately feel that you are capable of writing it.
You can write the incident in an interesting manner. So before entering this field, check these qualities in yourself –
●There should be correctness of language and ability and patience to do in-depth research on the subject.
●Know how to summarize the script in few words while making it interesting.
●You should have the communication skills to put forward your point strongly and the determination to remain combative.
If you have all these qualities, then move ahead in this field. Prepare your script and keep sending it to film and TV directors or contact them and make them listen to the synopsis. If the work is good, then your struggle can turn into success.
