JEE Advanced Dress Code: Know What to Wear What to Carry and Important Instructions guidelines – JEE Advanced: JEE Advanced exam tomorrow, shoes and jewelery banned, know the dress code, important rules including necessary documents, Education News


JEE Advanced 2024 Dress Code: JEE Advanced, the exam for entry into IIT, is going to be held on 26 May across the country. The exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be from 2 pm to 5 pm. This time IIT Madras is going to conduct the exam. Students have to report to the examination centers in advance. The centers will open from 7 am. Out of 1067959 candidates who took JEE Main, 250,284 have qualified for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced Entrance Exam 2024 is the only way to get admission in Bachelors, Integrated Masters, Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Science and Architecture courses of IIT. There are about 17385 seats in 23 IITs.

JEE Advanced 2024: Know here JEE Advanced dress code and other rules
– Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced will wear slippers or sandals instead of shoes. Wearing a simple watch is allowed. One should not wear any thing like rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, amulets, earrings, chains, necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches, clothes with big buttons. Electronic devices are not allowed.
– – Boys must wear pants or shirts that have minimal pockets.
– Girls should avoid wearing clothes with dupatta. Wear simple kurti or jeans/plazzo/leggings.

– The exam centres will open at 7 am. Candidates have been asked to report at the exam centre at 7 am for Paper-I.

– Students are asked to bring a valid ID proof along with the admit card. There is no separate reporting time in the admit card this year. Candidates can carry any of the Aadhar card, school/college/institute ID, driving license, voter ID, passport, PAN card as ID proof.

– Scramble pads will be provided in each paper for rough work. Students can take the scramble pad with them after the exam is over.

– You will have to carry your own pen and pencil to the exam.
– You can bring a transparent water bottle with you.

The final answer key and exam result of JEE Advanced will be released on June 9.

Lab will be allotted through barcode reader
The barcode given on the admit card of the candidates will be read by the barcode reader and they will be allotted a lab to take the exam at the entry point of the examination centre itself. Scramble pads will be given in each paper for rough work. The students can take the scramble pad with them after the examination is over. The candidates will also have to go wearing their own mask.

JoSAA counselling 2024 is expected to be held from 10th June 2024 to 20th June 2024.
