Everyone was surprised to see the spirit of a candidate at the Bhagwanpur examination centre of JEE Advanced in Muzaffarpur. Anand, a student who came from Chakia, is a victim of club foot disease. He is handicapped in both legs. A few days ago, he had an operation on one leg and in the same condition, he came to give the exam on a wheel chair. Anand was given an extra hour in both the papers.
Mathematics questions in both papers of JEE Advanced confused students
In the JEE Advanced exam held on Sunday, Mathematics was the most difficult of the two papers. Candidates said that Physics was a little easy in Paper 1 but all the three subjects troubled them in Paper 2. At the exam centre, candidates were asked to remove their amulets, rings and ear rings. This strictness was taken to ensure transparency in the exam.
This exam was conducted at Kanti, Bhagwanpur and Kachhi-Pakka online centres in Muzaffarpur district. Instructions have been given regarding JEE Advanced exam that only the candidates appearing in both the shifts will be evaluated. In the first shift, candidates were given admission from 7 am. Those arriving after 9 am were stopped. Candidates said that some questions were complicated and involved long calculations. In chemistry, organic, inorganic and physical chemistry were given equal importance. Questions related to mixed concepts were asked. Qualitative analysis was asked in comprehension based questions. Student Divyanshu, who was coming out of Kanti examination centre after giving the exam, said that the chemistry questions were tricky. Including all the three subjects, only physics was of moderate level. Here, parents had reached the centre before 7 am. They had to spend about 10 hours outside the centre in scorching heat.
