JEE Main Result 2024, JEE Main Cut Off: NTA released the result of JEE Main exam of the second session late on Wednesday night. Candidates can check the result of JEE Main April session examination by visiting jeemain.nta.ac.in. National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the combined result of Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) for January and April session. In this, 56 candidates have achieved 100 percentile score, including two girls. Most of the students are from Telangana. 15 are from Telangana, seven each from Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra and six from Delhi. 250284 candidates have qualified for the IIT entrance exam JEE Advanced. Twenty-nine candidates were barred from appearing for JEE-Main for three years for using unfair means during the examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said. More than 10 lakh candidates appeared in the second edition of the examination. The examination was conducted in Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
While 23 candidates had secured 100 percentile in the January session, 33 candidates had secured 100 percentile in the April session. Of the total 56 candidates who got 100 percentile in the combined result, 40 are from the general category. 10 are from OBC, 6 from General EWS category. Whereas there is not a single candidate from SC and ST categories who got 100 percentile.

JEE Advanced cutoff highest in five years (JEE Advanced Cut Off)
The number of category wise qualified candidates for JEE Advanced 2024 examination has been released. Of the 1067959 candidates who appeared for JEE Main, 250,284 have qualified for JEE Advanced. There are 97,351 students in unreserved quota and 3973 students in unreserved PWD quota. 25029 candidates have qualified from EWS, 67,570 from OBC category, 37,581 from SC, 18,780 from SCT have qualified. This year the cutoff score of JEE Advanced has been 93.23 whereas last year it was 90.7. For OBC NCL it has been 79.6 whereas last year it was 73.6. It has been 81.3 for EWS (75.6 last year), 60 for SC (51.9 last year) and 46.69 for ST (37.23 last year). In 2022, JEE (Advanced) cut off for unreserved category was 88.4, for OBC it was 67, for EWS it was 63.1; For SC candidates it was 43; And for ST candidates it was 26.7.

Rank released after combining two sessions
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the ranks of JEE Main January and April sessions combined. Including the first and second stages of JEE Main, 14,15,110 students had appeared. 11,79,569 students appeared in the April session. The number of students in this is 3,73,515 and the number of students is 8,06,045. If we look at it, more than three lakh students had appeared in the examination as compared to last year. The second phase examination was held from April 4 to 9.
Who are the two girls who got 100 percentile?
Girls who got 100 percentile include Sanvi Jain from Karnataka and Shayna Sinha from Delhi. All the rest are boys. In the year 2023, 43 had got 100 percentile whereas this time the number is 56. Last year only one girl got 100 percentile.
Let us tell you that JEE Main examination is conducted twice a year (in two sessions). There are two papers in JEE Main. Paper-1 gives admission to BE/B.Tech. Paper-1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering courses (BE/B.Tech) in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and other participating State Government funded/recognized institutes/universities. JEE Main exam is also a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper-2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B. Planning courses in the country. When the result of JEE Main Session-2 is declared, the rank of the students is released on the basis of the best NTA score of both the sessions. Candidates who secure first rank around 2,50,000 in JEE Main result are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced test. Admission to IIT is available through JEE Advanced.
