JEE Mains Result 2024 Live: NTA JEE Mains Paper 2 results awaited

A total of 74,002 candidates had registered for the JEE Main 2024 paper 2 examinations for session 1, out of which 55,493 or 75 per cent of candidates appeared for the exam.

The JEE Main Paper 2 examination was conducted on February 24, in a single shift, from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main 2024 session 1, paper 1 results have been announced and in the result notification, NTA said that “The NTA Scores for Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and 2B (B.Planning) for the JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 will be issued in the next few days.”

As informed by NTA, a total of 74,002 candidates had registered for the JEE Main 2024 paper 2 examinations for session 1, of whom 55,493 or 75 per cent of candidates appeared for the exam.

Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)

Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).

Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).

If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.

If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.

The Examination was held in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).

In the information bulletin of JEE Main 2024, NTA said that “a copy of the Final Scorecard of JEE (Main) 2024 will be sent to the registered e-mail address of the candidates.”

Final results of the examination will be published after the session 2 examination.

The Examination was also conducted in 21 cities outside India Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos/Abuja, Colombo, Jakarta, Moscow, Ottawa, Port Louis, Bangkok, and Washington D.C.The examination was also conducted in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, and Oslo cities for the first time.

The “Normalization procedure based on Percentile Score” was used to ensure that candidates were neither benefitted nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the examination.

NTA conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2024 Session 1 (January 2024) in about 544 Centres in 291 Cities (including 21 cities outside India.

“The session was conducted in 10 shifts which is 02 shifts less than the previous year despite the number of registered candidates going up to 1221624 as compared to the previous year’s count of 860064 i.e. an increase of 27%”, reads the official notification.

There shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

Joint Entrance Examination BArch (paper 2A) and BPlanning (paper 2B) results, when released, can be checked by candidates on the official website of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
