The Joint Entrance Exam Council (Polytechnic) of Uttar Pradesh has released the seat allotment result for the first round of JEECUP counseling. If you too had applied for the JEECUP counseling process, then you can check your result by visiting the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
After the seat allotment result, students will have to accept the seat. After that, they will have to get their documents verified from July 16 to July 19. Students will have to pay the fees online only, for which they will get time from July 16 to July 20. If you want to leave your seat, then you have been given the date of July 21 for that, you can withdraw admission from your seat on July 21.
Whichever college or institute the students have taken admission in, they have to visit that college once before 21st August as the academic year 2024-25 is starting from 21st August.
The time for choice filling for the second round of counselling process will be from 22nd July to 24th July. The seat allotment result for the second round will be declared on 25th July. The time for fee payment will be from 26th July to 30th July. The time for document verification will be from 26th July to 29th July. You can withdraw your admission from the seat on 1st August.
Choice filling for Round 3 of the counselling process will be held from August 3 to August 4. The seat allotment result for Round 3 will be declared on August 5. Document verification at help centres will be held from August 6 to August 8. The fee payment date is from August 6 to August 8. You can withdraw admission from the seat on August 10.
Important documents to participate in the counseling process-
1. Admit card of JEECUP 2024 exam
2. Rank card of JEECUP 2024 exam
3. JEECUP Counselling Allotment Letter
4. Class 10th mark sheet or result
5. Class XII mark sheet or result
6. Character Certificate
7. Migration Certificate (if asked for)
8. Reservation Certificate (if asked for)
9. Residence Certificate
10. Two photographs of the student
11. Photocopies of all these documents
Seat acceptance fee for government colleges-
According to the official notification, if the student is allotted a seat in a government college or an affiliated college, then the student will have to pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 3000 and a counseling fee of Rs 250. After the fee payment process after seat allotment, the candidate will have to go to the college for document verification. After this, you have to go to the online portal and deposit the remaining fees. After this, the student can download his provisional admission letter.
Seat acceptance fee in private colleges-
According to the official notification, if a student is allotted a seat in a private college, he or she will have to pay half or 50% of the total tuition fee as seat acceptance fee. Apart from this, students will also have to pay a counselling fee of Rs 250.
