Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) has officially started the admission process for admission in class 6. This admission process is being done for admission in the 2025 batch of class 6. Apart from this, admission forms for admission in class 6 are also available on cbseitms.nic.in.
Let us tell you that if you want to take admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, then you must fill the online application form. There are many eligibility criteria to take admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, which are mandatory to fulfill.
Qualifications-
1. Students will get admission in the same Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya which is available in their district. Students will also have to submit residence certificate to fill the admission form.
2. To take admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6, the student must have studied class 3, 4 and 5 from any government school or government aided school or any recognized school and along with this the student must have passed class 3, 4 and 5.
3. The student will get only one chance to appear in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Examination.
4. 75 percent of seats in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya are reserved for children coming from rural areas. Admission on the remaining 25 percent seats will be given to children from both urban and rural areas on the basis of merit.
5. To take admission under rural quota, the student must have passed class 3, 4 and 5 from a government school or government aided school or any recognized school in his/her rural district.
6. Students who have completed class 3, 4 and 5 from any urban government school or government aided school or any recognized school will be considered as from urban area.

– Fill the application form and pay the application fee.
– Click on Submit.
– Keep in mind that during application, you will have to upload the following documents in JPG format with photos of size 10 KB to 100 KB.
– Photograph, parents' signature, student's signature, Aadhaar card details. Keep in mind that the certificate should be verified by the headmaster along with the student's details.
