There is good news for the people of Jodhpur, now the people of Jodhpur will not have to go far for medical studies. They can now study in Vyas Medical College, a private college located in their own city. Where they will be given the best education. Vyas Medical College and Hospital located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan has been given permission to operate by the National Medical Council. This is the first medical college in Jodhpur, which has been given permission to operate by NMC. NMC has allowed admission for the academic year 2024-25 on 100 MBBS seats of this college.
Let us tell you that for the year 2024-25, 113 institutions from all over the country had applied to operate in NMC, out of which NMC has granted permission to only 44 colleges. 12 private and government hospitals from Rajasthan had applied to the National Medical Council to start institutes, out of which NMC has granted permission to only 2 colleges to operate in the year 2024-25.
Vyas Medical College and Hospital chairman Manish Vyas said that the NMC team had earlier inspected the college for operating the college. In which the college has passed all the parameters set by NMC.
Facilities of Vyas Medical College-
The director here, Dr. Ashok Rathod, said that there are 735 beds available for treatment in the hospital. Apart from this, there are 12 operation theatres, lab for heart patients, ICU, CCU, NICU, and blood bank.
There will also be separate girls and boys hostel facilities for students coming from other cities and states to study. The hostel will be present in the college campus itself.
Let us tell you that Vyas Medicity has been providing education to students in many other subjects for the last 20 years. These include courses like Engineering, Nursing, BSS Nursing, Management, Commerce, B.Ed and Dental. Medical has also been added to it now. This year admission will be done on 100 seats.
