The Indian Army has invited applications for Short Service Commission (SSC) Technical Course Recruitment. Applications have started from July 16 on the official website of Army Recruitment, joinindianarmy.nic.in. The last date to apply is August 14, 2024. A total of 379 vacancies will be filled under the Indian Army SSC Technical Graduate Entry. There are 29 vacancies for women and 350 vacancies for men.
Educational Qualification- Degree in Engineering. Final year students can also apply but they must submit their degree within 12 weeks of the start of training.
Age Range – 20 years to 27 years. The candidate must have been born between 2 April 1998 and 1 April 2005. Age will be calculated from 1 April 2025.
Selection- Candidates will be shortlisted for SSB interview based on their marks obtained in engineering degree. The SSB interview will be of five days.
Jag Course
Recruitment is also out in the Indian Army under the Judge Advocate General (JAG) branch. For this, the last date to apply by visiting joinindianarmy.nic.in is 13 August 2024.
Qualification: LLB with at least 55% marks. Eligible to be registered as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
Age Limit:- Minimum 21 years and Maximum 27 years.
Selection Process
– Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of qualification and marks obtained in the application form.
– The selected candidates will then be called to the selection centre for Psychological Test, Group Test, and Interview.
Training – The selected candidates will undergo training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai. It will last for 49 weeks.
