Students up to rank 24,262 in JEE Advanced have been allotted seats in IIT ISM Dhanbad. These seats have been allotted in Mining Machinery Engineering. JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) has released the list of second round seat allotment for admission in 23 IITs of the country including IIT ISM Dhanbad. Admission is being taken in B.Tech and other courses on 1125 seats in IIT Dhanbad. The closing rank in many branches of the institute has gone down considerably, although the opening rank of Computer Science remains 1817. The closing rank has gone up to 8100. What is important is that seats have been allotted to 23,317 rank in Applied Geology, 20,817 rank in Applied Geophysics, 18461 in Chemical Engineering, 20298 in Civil Engineering, 22006 in Environmental Engineering, 21,708 in Mineral and Metallurgical Engineering, 240,71 in Mining Engineering, 24,262 rank in Mining Machinery and 20,134 rank in Petroleum Engineering.
Experts say that seats are to be allotted in five rounds to fill the vacant seats. Hence, there is every possibility that the closing rank of the institute may reach 25 thousand. Now all eyes are on the seat allotment in the final round.

New BTech students will report on July 28
Dhanbad. With the start of seat allocation for JEE Advanced qualified students, IIT ISM Dhanbad has released the schedule for other courses including B.Tech. Students enrolled in 1125 seats of the institute will have to report to IIT Dhanbad by 9 am on 28 July. After reporting at the Student Activity Center of the institute, they will be sent to the allotted hostel as soon as biometric verification is completed. Boys will be allotted rooms in Amber Hostel and girls in Rosaline Hostel. Orientation program will be organized in Penmen Hall on the next day, 29 July. Classes will start from 30 July. It is important that this time document verification will be done on August 4, the sixth day after the start of classes. IIT management has issued detailed instructions regarding admission.
18 teachers got training in IIT Dhanbad
Dhanbad. The five-day Poshan Bhavishya Leadership Program concluded under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training. 18 teachers were given training. A lot of information was given during this.
