JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) has released the seat allotment result for the third round yesterday on July 4. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website josaa.nic.in. JoSAA may release the cutoff for Round 3 soon.
Students who have got seats in Round 3 through the counselling process will have to freeze their seats if they want to retain them. If students do not want to retain their allotted seats, they will have to float or slide them. Students will have to accept the seat during the online reporting time. After that, they will have to pay the seat acceptance fee and also upload the required documents for verification. The process of JoSAA Round 3 will run from July 4 to July 8.
Important dates for third round seat allotment-
1. JoSAA 3rd round seat allotment list will be released on July 4.
2. Students are required to report online between 4th July to 8th July to pay their fees, upload required documents and answer the questions asked.
3. The last date to pay the 3rd round fees is July 8, 2024.
4. The last date to answer the questions asked in the third round is July 9.
5. The time given to leave the 3rd round seat or opt out of the seat allocation process is from 5th July to 9th July.
6. The seat allotment list for the fourth round will be released on July 10, 2024.
How students can check the third round seat allotment list-
1. First of all you have to visit the official website of JoSAA Counselling, josaa.nic.in.
2. After this you have to click on the link JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result 2024 given on the home page.
3. You will then need to enter your application number and password to log in.
4. Now after entering the details you have to click on submit.
5. Now your seat allotment result will appear on your screen.
6. You can download this result.
7. Take a printout of your result for future reference.
After the completion of all the five JoSAA rounds, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will conduct two more rounds of counselling for the remaining seats (NIT, IIIT, GFTI and IIEST). CSAB will conduct the counselling round process between July 17 and July 24. Interested students can visit the official website csab.nic.in for more details. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) comes under the Ministry of Education and regulates and manages the admission process in 121 government technical institutes.
