: Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) started the application process for recruitment to 170 posts of Forest Ranger from 29 July 2024. The last date for online registration for interested and eligible candidates was 10 August 2024 and the last date for fee payment was 11 August, but now the commission has extended the last date for registration. Candidates will now be able to apply online on the official website of JPSC, jpsc.gov.in till 30 August 2024. This will be a golden opportunity for the candidates who have not applied till now. How to apply:
First of all visit the official website of JPSC, jpsc.gov.in.
Now click on the link for online registration on the homepage.
Start the application process for the posts of Assistant Forest Conservator.
Create your login ID on the portal with the required credentials and details.
Now upload the documents. Pay the fees. Finally click on the submit button.
After filling the form, take a printout of the application form.

Application Fees : To apply for the post of Forest Ranger, candidates of General, EBC, BC and EWS category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600. At the same time, the application fee for SC and ST category people is Rs 150.
Selection Process: To get recruited for Jharkhand PCS 170 Forest Ranger posts, candidates will have to go through Mains Exam, Prelims Exam, Interview, Physical Test and Medical Test.
Salary : Selected candidates will be paid Rs.9300-34800 (Grade Pay-4200) (Level-6) as salary for the post of Forest Range Officer.
