Like NEET, in Jharkhand, 500 candidates have passed from a single centre for the recruitment of postgraduate trained teachers. Many of them have already joined Plus Two schools, while the rest will be given appointment letters soon. This centre is Shreya Digital Centre of Bokaro. Along with the highest results, the highest number of toppers are also from this centre. 10 out of 25 toppers in Physics are from this centre. Eight out of 13 in Geography and 10 out of 27 candidates are from this centre. Three out of top 11 in Biology and 10 out of 47 successful candidates are from here. Now PGT candidates are questioning the results of these centres and alleging rigging. Candidates have appealed for an inquiry into this from Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission to the Chief Minister.
48 successful candidates from only five centres 24 examination centres were made across the state for the 3120 Post Graduate Trained Teacher Competitive Examination. But only about 1500 candidates were successful from five centres including Shreya Digital. Apart from Shreya Digital of Bokaro, the result of examination centres of Shiva Infotech of Ranchi, Dhanbad Digital of Dhanbad, Future Bright and Tista Technology of Ranchi has been much better than other examination centres. More than 200 candidates were successful in these also. There are 12 centres where only 30 to 100 candidates were successful.
Talking about Shreya Digital, 195 candidates have passed in Geography subject, out of which 45 candidates were successful from this center. At the same time, 72 out of 262 in Physics, 49 out of 245 in Commerce, 52 out of 279 in Mathematics, besides 36 in Biology, 22 in Chemistry, 28 in English, 20 in Hindi, 18 in Economics, 13 in History and 7 in Sanskrit have been successful. Document verification of the remaining candidates has been done and the result has been kept pending.
