The LBS Centre for Science and Technology will conclude its online registration process for the Kerala State Eligibility Test (Kerala SET) for January 2024 today, October 25. Candidates interested in applying for the Kerala State Eligibility Test can complete their applications by visiting the official LBS Centre website at lbscentre.kerala.gov.in

The registration link will remain active until 5 pm today. Those who have already registered can make online payments until October 27. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to edit their application forms between October 28 and 29, up to 5 pm. The specific date for the exam will be announced at a later time.

Step 2: Tap on the “SET January 2024” application link, on the homepage.

Step 3: Tap on the “Online Registration” link.

Step 4: Now, register yourself at the portal and proceed with the application process.

Step 5: Then, upload the required documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form.

Step 6: Lastly, take a print of the application form.

To be eligible for the Kerala State Eligibility Test in January 2024, candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subjects, with a minimum of 50 per cent marks or an equivalent grade. Additionally, they should hold a B.Ed. degree in any discipline, either from a Kerala university or one that is recognized as an equivalent qualification. It’s worth noting that there is no age restriction for candidates wishing to apply for the Kerala SET.

The Kerala State Eligibility Test January 2023 will have two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is divided into two parts, General Knowledge (Part A) and Aptitude in Teaching (Part B). Paper II is a subject-specific test based on the candidate’s specialization at the Post Graduate (PG) level, and there will be 31 subjects to choose from for Paper II. Each paper has a duration of 120 minutes, and there are no penalties for incorrect answers.

Kerala SET January 2024: Application Fee

Candidates from the General/OBC category are required to pay a fee of Rs 1000, while SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates need to pay Rs 500.
