Konkan Railway Recruitment 2024 Registration To Begin Today: Konkan Railway Corporation Limited had issued a recruitment notice for several posts some time back. Registration for these posts will start from today i.e. Monday, 16 September 2024. Vacancy Details
Through this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be appointed on a total of 190 posts. These posts are of Senior Section Engineer, Technician, Assistant Loco Pilot, Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Commercial Supervisor, Track Maintainer and Point Man. Also know that only natives of Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka can apply for these posts. People from the families of candidates who have lost their land here or who are employees of Konkan Railway can also fill the form.

what is the last date
Applications for these posts are starting from today i.e. Monday, 16 September 2024 and the last date to fill the form is 6 October 2024. Apply within this time limit. The form can be filled till 11:59 pm on 6 October, but the candidates are requested not to wait till the last moment and apply in advance.
Who can fill the form
The educational qualification to apply for these posts is different according to the post. It would be better if you check the notice given on the official website to know its details. For example, candidates having a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical can apply for the post of Senior Section Engineer Electrical. Similarly, matriculation pass candidates who have an ITI diploma in the relevant field can apply for the post of technician. Similarly, the educational qualification to apply for all the posts is different.
Talking about the age limit, candidates between 18 and 36 years can apply for these vacancies. Age will be counted from 1st August 2024 and reserved category will get age relaxation as per government rules.

How will the selection be done
For selection on these posts, candidates will first have to give a written exam. After this, there will be an attitude test according to the vacancy. After that, document verification and medical examination will be conducted. For some posts, physical efficiency test will also have to be given. Only those who pass one stage will go to the next stage and the selection will be final only after passing all the stages.
Fees and Salary
To apply, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 885. Reserved category and female candidates also have to pay a fee but their entire fee will be refunded after appearing in the CBT.
Salary is also different according to the post. For example, the salary of the post of Senior Section Engineer is Rs 49000 per month. The salary of the post of Technician is Rs 19900. The salary of the post of Station Master is Rs 35400. Similarly, the salary of the post of Goods Train Manager is Rs 29200.
