KVS Admission 2024: The admission process for the first class of Kendriya Vidyalayas will start from April 1, 2024. The detailed schedule of Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission will be released soon. At present, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has started a testing portal for admission in first class. KVS has also informed the parents that kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in is a testing portal and registration on this website will not be considered valid. However, detailed notification on how and where to apply is expected to be released soon.
KVS Admission Age Limit: Age limit for Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission
Parents of the child should keep in mind that for admission in class one, the child should be at least 6 years of age. Age will be calculated from March 31, 2024. Children born on April 1 will also be considered eligible. The age of the child should be less than 8 years.
– In KV new admission, 15 percent seats will be reserved for SC category, 7.5 percent for ST and 27 percent for OBC.
These documents are necessary for admission
– Original date of birth certificate of the child
– SC, ST, OBC certificate (if applicable)
– Address proof
– Aadhaar card of child and parents
– Two photos of the child
How to apply
Parents who want to get their children admitted in class 1 will have to visit the websites kvsagathan.nic.in and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in and submit their applications. KV has a total of 1,254 schools in the country. During the application, child's name, parents' name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number and other details will have to be filled carefully.
