Even semester examinations will be held in three shifts in Lucknow University. Students who have passed six semesters and failed in first and second will be given one more chance. Similarly, a committee was formed to reduce the answer sheet to 32 pages instead of 40 pages. These decisions were taken in the examination committee meeting. The examination committee meeting was held in LU on Thursday. Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai said that from this session even semester examinations will be held in three shifts. Examination controller Vidyanand Tripathi said that these examinations are MCQ based. Therefore, it is easy to conduct the examination in three shifts.
New groups announced in BA, exam time will be reduced by 15 days
New groups have been formed for BA course in Lucknow University. The eligibility criteria for admission to M.Com Commerce and online B.Com and M.Com courses have been fixed. These decisions were taken in the meeting of the admission committee chaired by the Vice Chancellor.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai. Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Kumar Rai said that the groups of BA subjects have been re-decided. In the session 2024-25, there will be a provision to select subjects from these groups in the university and affiliated colleges. By reducing the groups, the time of examinations will be reduced by about 15 days. Also, candidates will have more convenience in choosing subjects. The minimum qualification for taking admission in M.Com Commerce course has been reduced to 45 percent marks in B.Com and M.Com. There are prescribed eligibility criteria for online B.Com and M.Com courses. At the same time, now admissions in B.Tech and B.Form will be done through AKTU counselling.
