The application date for admission to UG and PG courses in Lucknow University has been extended. Candidates will now be able to apply till June 30. It is mandatory for the candidates to register for LURN before filling the form. Under the admission process for the academic session 2024-25 in LU, the date for application for BPEd, MPEd, MEd, Bachelor and Master in Library Science programs including undergraduate, graduate professional, postgraduate and postgraduate professional courses has been extended. Now candidates can apply till June 30. Earlier this date was fixed as 31 May. Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai said that by visiting UG and PG Admission in the admission page of LU website www.lkouniv.ac.in, one can get all the information related to admission.

Maximum application fee is Rs 1600
For graduation courses, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 800 for general and OBC category and Rs 400 for SC, ST and Divyangjans. For UG professional courses i.e. BBA and BCA, general and OBC category candidates will have to pay Rs 1000 and SC, ST and Divyangjans will have to pay Rs 500. For D Pharma, the fee will be Rs 1000 and Rs 500 respectively and for B.Ed, the fee will be Rs 1600 and Rs 800 respectively.
Keep these things in mind while filling the form
– Before filling the form, please read all the instructions given in the admission voucher.
– Scanned copy of candidate's photo and signature should be within 50 KB.
– If you want to avail the benefit of reservation then the scanned copy of the certificate should be of 50 KB.
One subject will be selected from each group in BA NEP
There were 11 groups in BA NEP before the session 2024-25 in LU. Now the groups have been reduced to eight. However, conditions have been kept in selecting the subjects. Only one subject can be selected from each group. The subject allotted as major cannot be taken as minor. Minor subjects cannot be taken from the group from which major subjects have been taken. Statistics subject will be taken as minor only if the candidate has taken Mathematics as a major.
