Admission in government MBBS seat will be difficult
This time, admission in medical colleges of the country and Bihar is difficult even after scoring good marks. The cutoff of NEET result has gone up a lot. As a result, it is difficult to say whether admission will be possible even after scoring 650 marks in government medical colleges or not. There are about 1350 seats in government medical colleges of Bihar. Out of these, 15 seats go to the central quota. Due to this, admission will be done on higher marks here. Admission will be done on about 1051 on 85 seats of Bihar. NEET UG paper is of 720 marks. The rank of students scoring more than 650 marks in it has crossed 30 thousand this time. Assistant Director of Goal Institute, Ranjay Singh says that students scoring up to 655 marks are likely to get MBBS seat in Bihar this time.

In fact, the NEET cutoff to get a seat in a government medical college will also be higher than before. Last year, the last MBBS seat in Bihar was given to the general category students with All India Rank 18058 (marks 620), whereas this time it is difficult for those who get even 650 to get an MBBS seat. This time 1,54,461 students were registered from Bihar, out of which 1,49,542 students appeared in the examination. 74743 students have qualified. At the same time, 74,799 have failed. That is, the failed student did not even get 164 marks. In 2023, the AIR rank of those who got 620 marks was 18058, while this time the AIR of those with 630 marks is 48600. Along with this, the students have also alleged rigging in the result.
