Students are indifferent towards admission in engineering colleges of Bihar. So far only 46 percent of the students have been admitted on the basis of the second merit list. This time there will be no admission under the mop-up round. In such a situation, even after the second round is over, more than half the seats are still vacant.

There were 13675 seats to be filled in 38 government engineering colleges of the state, but only 6420 (46.95) seats have been filled. 7255 seats are still vacant. The second round of admission was done, but it had to be cancelled due to technical glitches. 84 admissions were reduced in the re-admission process. Options will be filled till 23rd for admission on the vacant seats.
