NCTE ITEP Result 2024: National Testing Agency has released the result of National Common Entrance Test (NCET 2024). Candidates can check their result by visiting ncet.samarth.ac.in. You can also download the score card by entering your application number and date of birth. This exam was conducted on 10th July. National Testing Agency (NTA) has also released the final answer key along with the result. The result has been prepared on the basis of this final answer key. The provisional answer key was released on 30th July, on which objections were sought till 31st July. Let us tell you that through this course, admission will be given in the new four-year ITEP (Integrated Teacher Education Program) in 64 different institutions of the country. Under the ITEP course, 12th pass students will do four-year BA B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed and B.Com B.Ed courses. As per the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, from the year 2030, only those with a four-year B.Ed or four-year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) degree will be able to become teachers, in such a situation, this course has become very important for becoming a teacher. This course will prepare teachers for the four stages of the new school structure created under the NEP, i.e. Foundational, Preparatory, Middle and Secondary (5+3+3+4).

What is ITEP course
The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) launched the Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) in 41 Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) across the country from the academic session 2023-24. The course was launched in March 2023. It is a flagship program of NCTE under NEP 2020.

ITEP, which was notified on 26 October 2021, is a 4-year dual-composite undergraduate degree offering BA B.Ed. / B.Sc B.Ed. / and B.Com B.Ed. courses. This course will prepare teachers for the 4 stages of the new school education system i.e. Foundational, Preparatory, Middle and Secondary (5+3+3+4) given under the new education policy.

The program is being run in pilot mode initially in reputed Central/State Government Universities/Institutes. ITEP will be available to all students who choose teaching as their career after secondary education.

This integrated course will benefit students by saving one year as they will complete the course in 4 years instead of 5 years required by the current B.Ed. scheme. Admission to this will be done through the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
