This time there will be admission on more than 1.13 lakh MBBS seats. Currently there are 706 medical colleges in the country. There are 1,08,915 MBBS seats in these. Last year more than 10,000 medical seats were increased. This time also more than five thousand seats will increase. The total number of medical colleges will be around 750. There are both government and private medical colleges in it. All the colleges will get the Letter of Permission (ELOP) before July 2024. After the May 5, 2024 examination, the admission process will start from July. After the opening of new medical colleges, the total number of medical colleges will also be around 750. There will be more contenders for government seats.
