The exam is likely to be held on March 29 and 30, 2025. Candidates can check the official notification by visiting the website natboard.edu.in. The final schedule of NEET SS will be released soon on the official website natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.
In the information bulletin for NEET SS 2024, candidates will get to know about the eligibility, fee structure, scheme of examination and other details. For any queries/clarifications/assistance, candidates can write to NBEMS on its communication portal. NEET SS is an eligibility-cum-ranking exam for admission to various DM/MCH and Dr.NB Super Specialty courses.
In August, the Supreme Court dismissed a petition challenging the National Medical Commission's (NMC) decision not to conduct the NEET SS exam in 2024. A bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra said the NMC's decision was well justified and refused to tinker with the exam calendar.
In the last hearing in July, the Supreme Court had issued notice to NMC on the petition of 13 doctors. Referring to a previous judgment, the petitioners said that NEET SS is to be held every year and the Supreme Court has already fixed the time table for admission in the super specialty schedule.
In a recent notification regarding the tentative schedule for NEET SS, NBEMS said that the schedule has been finalised after the approval of the NMC and following the Supreme Court order dated August 14.
