NEET UG 2024 Paper Leak: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) has been conducted today at 4750 examination centers in 557 cities across the country and 14 cities abroad. As per Indian time, the exam started at 2 pm and continued till 5.20 pm. While the exam is over, social media posts are claiming that the NEET UG question paper has been leaked, however, NTA has admitted its mistake by sharing the notice on X (formerly Twitter).
Let us tell you, in Girls Higher Secondary Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, a center in Rajasthan, Hindi medium students claim that they were given English medium question papers. While NTA has admitted the mistake of giving wrong question paper, it has denied the reports of paper leak.
National Testing Agency (NTA) shared the post of notice on X account. In which it is written that during the NEET examination, wrong question paper was distributed by the Center Superintendent of the examination center Girls Higher Secondary Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur. After which some candidates, despite being stopped by the invigilators, forcefully came out of the examination center with question papers. Except this examination centre, the examination started smoothly at scheduled time and was conducted peacefully at all other examination centres.
NTA further wrote, the candidates who have come out with the question paper have not affected the integrity of the examination being conducted at other examination centres. A senior NTA official told a news website, 'The incidents of paper leak are completely false and this is being done only to sensationalize the news. According to the rules, students are allowed to go out of the examination center after the examination only with the question paper, but some students had gone out forcefully. Due to this, the question paper got circulated on the internet at around 4 pm, but by then the examination had started in all other centers across the country. Hence, NEET UG question paper has not been leaked.
