The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the medical entrance exam, NEET UG 2024 today, June 4. “The results are live, candidates can check through website. The details of top scorers and qualifying candidates will be available shortly,” a senior NTA official said. The results can be checked directly at exams.nta.ac.in.

A total of 67 students have secured rank 1 this year. As many as 24,06,079 students registered for NEET 2024 of which 23,33,297 appeared and 13,16,268 qualified.

NEET UG 2024 Results Released: What's Next?
While the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the counselling for 15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, respective authorities of each state will oversee the remaining 85 per cent of admissions. Students who fulfil the eligibility criteria and have scored the minimum NEET UG 2024cut-offs can check the seat matrix and the list of participating medical colleges from the official website of the MCC, mcc.nic.in.
The NTA is expected to announce the counselling schedule for this year soon. Last year, the first-round counselling for the NEET UG commenced on July 20.

The NEET 2023 cut-off marks for students belonging to the general categories increased last year. The NEET cut-off for 2023 had gone up to 720-137 from 715-117 in NEET UG 2022. The cut-off for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) increased from 116 -93 in 2022 to 136-107 in 2023. The NEET MBBS/ BDS cut-off 2023 for general category candidates was 50th, while for OBC, SC, and ST, it was 40th.
