NEET-UG 2024 Scam Revised List: National Test Agency (NTA) can release the revised merit list of NEET-UG exam soon. In this list, the number of toppers may decrease by 61. The list of toppers may fall from 61 to 17.
NTA had given full marks for a question in NEET exam when there were two answers. The court had ordered that the director of IIT Delhi form a 3-member expert committee to investigate the question with two answers. IIT Delhi has declared only one option correct for a question in the Physics paper. Due to which marks have been given for only 1 correct answer, due to which the rank of 4 lakh students who got grace marks has changed. This includes 44 out of 61 NEET-UG toppers who got 720 out of 720 marks. When the revised list of NEET UG is released, these candidates will lose 5 marks each. Due to which the list of toppers may decrease from 61 to 17.
Many students had claimed that 2 out of 4 options were correct from various NCERT books. NTA had also agreed to give additional five marks to 44 candidates because the wrong answer given by them was based on wrong reference in NCERT Science book. However, the Supreme Court in its decision said that only one answer will be correct and no marks will be given for any other option.
