NTA has re-issued the result of NEET UG exam. After which now the number of NEET toppers in the new result has come down from 61 to 17. All 17 toppers have got 99.997129 percent marks. The marks of the 44 students who have been removed from the topper list have come down from 720 to 715. All these students had chosen option 2 for question number 19, whereas in the Supreme Court hearing, the answer to this question was considered option 4 as correct. Therefore, the marks of all these students have been reduced. Manjin Mansoor from Bihar has topped NEET, he has got 720 out of 720 marks. Manjin Mansoor is a resident of Darbhanga, Bihar.
Manjin Mansoor came to Kota at the age of 16 to prepare for NEET. Many people in his family are doctors. When he saw his family members treating common people, he also got inspired to become a doctor when he grows up. His dream is to study MBBS from AIIMS Delhi. He told that during the preparation for the NEET exam, he focused on his small mistakes so that he does not make any mistake in the NEET exam. Manjin Mansoor's father Dr. Masoor Bakht is a pediatrician. Manjin Mansoor has studied 12th from Bihar Board, he has scored 87 percent marks in the class 12 board exam.

Through the NEET exam, students take admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and other various undergraduate medical courses in many medical colleges of the country. Apart from this, for Military Nursing Service (MNS), students also take admission in B.Sc Nursing course of Armed Forces Medical Service Hospital through NEET UG exam marks. NEET was organized across the country on 5 May 2024 in pen paper mode. About 24 lakh candidates participated in it. Due to irregularities in the examination, the NEET case went on in the Supreme Court for more than 2 months. After the court's decision, the NEET result has been revised and released again. Now it is believed that soon the schedule for the NEET counseling process will be released.
