UPPSC Recruitment Result: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission declared the result of 37 posts of Medical Officer Grade 2 Psychiatrist under Medical Health and Family Welfare Department (Allopathy) on Friday. 20 posts remained vacant due to non-availability of eligible candidates in this recruitment. Interviews were conducted on 21 and 22 May for direct recruitment to 07 posts of unreserved category, 13 of OBC, 14 of Scheduled Caste and three posts reserved for economically weaker section candidates. 17 candidates were selected on the basis of interview. According to Vinod Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary of the Commission, eight posts of OBC category and 12 posts of SC remained vacant due to non-availability of candidates. It has been recommended to advertise them again.

Out of the candidates selected for 17 psychiatrist posts, Upasana Rai has topped. The selected candidates also include Kumar Hemant Saurabh, Alok Gupta, Dwarika Verma, Nitika Singh, Indu Rani, Tina Bansal, Sumit Modi, Ashwin JV, Neeraj Singh Yadav, Jyoti Prakash, Monu Dole, Nilesh Kumar Kanaujia, Anjali Gopal, Anupam Singh Yadav, Shweta Verma and Anamika Rajput.
Not a single eligible candidate found for Radiologist:
Earlier, the commission had released the result of recruitment for 70 posts of Radiologist on Monday, 27 May 2024, in which not a single candidate was found eligible. According to Vinod Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary of the Commission, it has been recommended to issue advertisement again for all 70 posts. Under this recruitment, interviews of eligible candidates were held on 21 May 2024, in which no candidate was found eligible.
In this way, 46 out of 50 posts of plastic surgeon are vacant. Only 4 candidates were found eligible for this recruitment.
